About Us

paulglowiak.com Graphic & Web Design began operations in May of 2004, although we have done freelance Graphic & Web Design before opening our agency. We enjoy helping businesses of all sizes and occupations to succeed through effective visual communications, using all resources available at our disposal and leveraging partnerships we have with not only vendors but in some cases competitors.

The principal owner and designer is Paul Glowiak. Paul has an extensive background in sales, marketing and printing that spans 4 decades, starting out in the family business in Chicago as a teenager. In 1980, a career change to the emerging cellular market led to a successful sales career selling cellular telephones and two-way radio communications in the Chicago market, earning several awards for sales and customer service excellence. Paul relocated to Madison, IN in 1991, working it two-way and paging sales in Louisville before going to work at WORX/WXGO in Madison. Paul left the industry for a while, working for the legendary Bob Hughes at Clifty Engineering and Tool Co., Inc.

Due to an illness in the family, Paul relocated to Florida in August of 1998, losing his father Raymond Sept. 20th of 1998 and losing his mother Eleanor August 15th, 1999. Returning to Madison in early 2000, and merging the remainder of the family business into a consulting firm, The Glowiak Group was born. Different projects and opportunities came along and he gained experience in the emerging field of Web Site Design.

In May of 2004, after working for a local car dealership and getting fired, Paul decided to dedicate his main business focus into service the needs of businesses of all sizes through Graphic & Web Design projects. Sales and our list of satisfied customers have increased each year, in part due to our membership in the Madison Area Chamber Of Commerce. Paul also serves on the Chamber's Technology Task Force.

Marlene Glowiak is the wife of Paul, and a source of great comfort and support to Paul. Marlene is a Madison native, and met Paul when he was a student at Hanover College in 1973-1974. As the saying goes, "behind every man there is a good woman", and that fits Marlene to the letter. Marlene is currently working in the Home Healthcare Field for a national company, and is the silent partner in the business.

In addition to Paul & Marlene, we have two wonderful children, Mary Glowiak and Megan Glowiak. Mary currently works for Ivy Tech Community College Health Sciences Campus at the former Ft. Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis. Mary is a graduate of the University Of Indianapolis.

Megan Glowiak is a Help Desk Agent for the Indianapolis office of Blue-Green Corporation, a management company of time-share and resort locations. Megan is a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College, Madison Campus. Both daughters live in Carmel, Indiana.

We enjoy what we do to serve our customers, and we learn something new each day. We never intended to get wealthy doing what we do; our richness comes from our relationships with our customers and helping them to succeed in business.
